At 2:42 pm today, parents of Glynn Academy students received this call regarding a school threat on the bathroom wall. This is the second threat since the shootings in Parkland, FL.

Please stay tuned for some important information from Glynn Academy

This is Glynn Academy Principal, Matthew Blackstone and in order to be totally transparent and keep our parents informed we want to make you aware that we have found another threat on the bathroom wall today.  We are actively investigating the incident with our school resource officers and will proceed with the appropriate disciplinary action. 

Rest assured that we have increased security presence to closely monitor the school grounds and student body, so as to provide a safe learning environment for your child and our school staff. 

Consequences of making threats in a school setting are severe and the individual responsible will be held accountable.  The safety and well-being of our students and staff⁠are our top priority.  Thank you for all that you do in⁠ support of our students and our school.”
