It’s time to meet Trion Middle School’s Bulldogs

Trion Middle School Coaching staff has high expectations for the Bulldogs this season. “As a staff we love enjoy watching these young men learn the game of football and all the life lessons the game teaches each of them. We expect to have a great season and have a lot of fun on the field.”

Trion Middle School 2016 Coaching Staff:

Coach Dwayne Tinney- Head Coach (offensive coordinator)

• Played football and wrestled at Trion High
• Graduated 1992
• This is my ninth season coaching middle school football
• I also assist with high school wrestling

Coach Jarin Blevins- Assistant Coach (defensive coordinator/Running Backs)

• Graduated from Trion in 2003
• Went to Georgetown College and am currently attending Western Governors University.
• I have coached wrestling and football for Trion Middle School since 2014.Previously coached football for the Trion Recreation Department in 2010-2011.
• Married to Jennifer Blevins
• Two kids:  Mylee Blevins, 9 and Bradlei Blevins, 5

Coach Justin Gentry- Assistant Coach- (Offensive/Defensive line)

• Graduated from Trion High School in 2008.
• Went to Shorter and graduated in 2012. “Played” basketball at Shorter while I was there.
• Married in 2012 to Jamie Gentry.
• This is my third year coaching football all of them are at Trion. I also coach basketball for the High School.

Coach Cody Simpson-  Assistant Coach- (Quarterbacks, Receivers/ Defensive backs)

• Graduated from Trion in 2011
• Graduated from Shorter in 2015, played football all for years.
• This is my first year coaching football and I coached middle school basketball last season.
• Married to Ashley Lee Simpson
