Last Monday, April 30, marked the start of a three-week early voting period that ends on Friday, May 18.  Election Day will be the following Tuesday, May 22, from 7am-7pm at 11 precincts all over Catoosa County.

Additionally, this coming Saturday, May 12, is the ONLY Saturday where voting is allowed statewide.  The polls are open this Saturday, 9am-4pm.

Tonya Moore is Director of Elections and Voter Registration in Catoosa County.  When contacted to confirm the polling hours for Saturday voting, Moore also highlighted that the Catoosa Board of Elections offers an after-hours voting option on Thursday, May 17.  That evening, the polls will be open until 7pm.

The two early voting polling locations are at the Westside Precinct, next to Westside Elementary on Lakeview Drive, and the Elections office in Ringgold at Freedom Hall, behind the Ringgold Depot on Evitt Street.  Polls at these two locations are open daily from 8am-5pm.  Any registered voter in Catoosa County can vote at either of these locations, no matter where in the county you live.  You will need a valid photo ID as proof of registration.

If you’ll be traveling on Tuesday, May 22, please consider voting early in person.  All statewide constitutional offices are on the ballot in 2018, ahead of the general election in November.
